I just got back from the race.... I got a call around 11:00pm last night wanting to know if i wanted to go to the race. I already had 2 tickets for the grand stands, but these were different. These seats were in the Skylounge Suite's. I said Hell Yeah.... Oh' what a time.... Nothing better than watchin o' Jeff thefagGordon gettin takin out

For me, it has not lost it's charm. I live about 2 hours from Talladega. I've been going to both races every year for a long time. There's usually 5 of us. We camp on the infield, turn 3. I'll wave at the camera next time so you can see me. I'm the drunk redneck.

I'm anxious for the fall race, the first COT race at a restrictor plate track. If the COT does as good at this race as all the others is gonna be wild. I'm going to try to get some garage passes so I can get some good pics.

 

i went to the talladega race in 03, micheal waltrip won . it was the one where elliot sadler had that crazy wreck, it was awesome that he walked away from that. hopefully i will be at next years spring race to see jr win it in the mountain dew #81!!

too bad jr isnt going to make the chase this year. i knew he wouldnt as soon as he signed with hendrick
