I went to weather dot com to check your 10 day forecast, and the weather that y'all are getting now is what we were getting for about 2 - 3 months straight. You might get a day or two or no rain, MAYBE some sun, and 3 - 4 days of rain, wash-rinse-and repeat. Did that for a good while.

Wierd weather lately, I'm telling you.

I have reffed football in Shelby---there is this neat little creek you cross to get to the football field from the locker rooms. Now that little creek has about 15 feet of water in it.

Although I know that there is "too much of a good thing" I'm kind of jealous. I haven't seen rain since April. When I get back, if i'm not freezing my stones off, I'm going to just set up a lawn chair out in the yard while it's raining, and just enjoy it for as long as I can.

Which, will probably be a very short period of time, but it's good to fantasize about something.
