Not on the 03-04 ZX you were on in the picture. The very best that I have ever heard of was 165 on the later models that had better aeros and were slightly faster on the top.

But not perfect, he lacks the wife beater and flip flops.

For the original question check the sig and gallery.

I'll take on some of those really "nice bikes" any day of the week. Once this new tune comes in the bikes gonna be ridiculous.. (it already scares me now)

Believe it or not I assure you I have hit 171 indicated on my old bike. I know the real top speed is about 159 though. It was an 03. And I weigh 245 lbs too. The bike was totaly stock. I had it dynoed once and it put 108 to the back wheel. I actually have the dyno sheet scanned and saved on my other computer. I love all the squid name calling and bashing on me for not wearing gear. Call it luck or call it skill. I have not one scratch on me and I used to ride pretty crazy for a few years. If I told you guys some other details about what I was doing that day and what I have done on that bike you guys would probably crucify me! So I think I'll keep it to myself. This place is too conservative for the good stories.

I raced for 3 years in Canada, but I took the California Superbike course.

I put my Yoshumira factory race bike on the street and it put out something like 185hp. The fastest I went on that bike was 315kms/hr whatever that is in mile per hour and that was on the radar at the long stretch of the track.

I ride like an old lady now but after racing everything else is slow motion...

I rode an Aprillia RSV1000, a Ducati 1098, a Buell, a blown Hayabusa (scary) a ZX-14, a factory GSXR superbike (crazy power) just to mention a few.

One bike that surprised me was the Gold wing I rode, incredibly quiet and deceptively fast-very deceptive...

alchemy-that is a very nice Duck....it is nice to see they got rid of that hideous design they had there and went back to this design again...

thumper-I believe the word is Bimota if you are referring to a type of bike..

I rode a normal 'Busa with a poer commander, yosh pipes, jet kit and K&N filter and that was waaaaaaaay too much bike for the street, I can only imagine a turbo 'Busa although there is the Google video one I see...

Yeah, the 999 series was/is a bad design. They do ride nice though, but that was not enough for me to buy one. The 1098 on the other hand...

I would love to throw a leg over a turbo Busa. It would make the ultimate street fighter.

Thank you, I couldn't remember the correct spelling. I've got a friend who used to race for Bimota and has a few of their bikes.

Hes got one just like this except in Silver/Black. Its a work of art in person.

*sigh* Another sweet bike with no dealers to be found. A SV650 is just as sexy, right?

I ride bikes sometimes, well, I ride their tails until I get close enough for contact. I love hearing two wheels sliding sideways under my truck

I would say "no offense" first but I hope I do offend you. **** off. That is so completely rude and immature of you to post something like that. It's funny how people can be so tough when they're hiding behind a keyboard. We call those E-toughguys. That's you buddy.
