HUH... I had you pegged as mostly Italian from your features and compliction. I knew you were from the wrong side of STL, from the rest of mafia town, but thought that your family might have migrated.

I could get it if I tried.

My great grandmothers were full blood Cherokee on both my grandfathers' side, and both my grandmothers were 1/4. Growing up in the coal mining region of southwest VA, it's no big deal though. Almost everyone has some in their blood, if their families have lived there enough generations.

On my dad's side, I am German and Czech. My last name is a German last name. I know my mom's dad was Irish and her mother was of Indian(I think Cherokee) descent. My mom always jokes that we must be mostly Irish because my whole family(and a huge family) is very short. Only maybe 15 out of 75-80 direct family members - aunt's,uncles,cousins- are over 5'10"

My dad says my 1/2 German cancels everything else out. He's 100% German, can't you tell?

about 3/4 German, and some Welsh I think on from my great grandma, but this was over 100yrs ago apparently, great grandparents spoke some German because they came here as children, its been three generations here.
I can honestly say I am one of the RARE born and raised Albertans.
