We've got a 02 F150 parts runner truck (5.4) that has 245,000 on it and other than maintenance items its ALL original and runs great. Also have several V-6 trucks used the same way that are over 350k!

I cant think of a v8, but my grandpa sold a early 90's GMC Sonoma (same as S10) 4 cyl. with 320K on it and other than oil changes, brakes, tires and an intake... everything else was original, even the ujoints!

He drove it 100 miles per day on his rural mail route, proabbly close to 300K of that was on dirt roads.

I've seen some Crown Vic cop cars with 200K+ on them, still running alright. A fleet customer of ours had a '99 Town Car with 350K-something on it before the engine locked up.

That one passed, that was his second S10 type. The one before I think was an actuall S10 and had Several miles on it too but not as many as that one.
Then he bought another S10, long bed with 4.3L. That he used 2-3 years until he retired. The man changed his oul once a month religously and all his vehicles lasted for ever. He told me: "The oil is the life blood of the engine, keep that changed and clean and it will run forever."

I used to know a guy that owned a limo service - he used to get 300k out of the 302 Lincolns. This was in the early 90's, the first 4.6 mod motors were only getting 120k or so, when he no longer could get good 302's, he started buying rear drive Caddys with Olds 307's and Chevy 350's.

Back in the late 60's and early 70's, I worked in a garage that had the contract to repair a bunch of taxicabs - the company that owned them was buying Plymouths with the old slant 6, those were good for 300k.

There is a guy in town that has an old 50's Studebaker truck with over 1 million original miles on it. Thing still looks like it just rolled off the assembly line.

If it still has the original engine, I bet it's been rebuilt quite a few times. They just didn't have the metallurgy back then and I'd be surprised if it went 100k without a ring and valve job and probably bearings too.

I just sold a crown vic with 224000 miles on it and it still runs perfect, nothing but fluid changes to the drivetrain. Helluva good car!
