I saw a mid/late 90's F-150 on ebay with over 400,000 miles. This was a year or two ago.

I saw a mid/late 90's F-150 on ebay with over 400,000 miles. This was a year or two ago. The seat was shot and most of the padding was worn of the steering wheel.

You would think but the old man claims it's not. It was on the local news after it made some record at the 1 million miles mark.
He won't sell it, I've persoanlly witnessed him turn down $150K, and teh guy flashed the cash in front of everyone! Definaty a case where 2 fools met, him for turning it down and the other guy for offering.

He never drives it over 35 mph, city or highway but drives it every where around locally all the time and it does not smoke.

My uncle had a 51 Studebaker truck for a while in the mid 60's, he paid 5 bucks for it. Someone had put a flathead Ford V8 and an overdrive in it - but it had some stump pulling gears in it. Start it in 3rd, let it clunk into OD at 15 mph, it topped out at 50 mph. Apparently it had a Buick rear end in it. He bought it to get around while he was waiting for his new truck to be built on special order, his 54 Ford truck died from rust, the bed sides fell off and the seat fell through the floor.
