Welcome to Houston Dave! Im sorry, not too much of a drag strip guy so I cant help ya with that, but Im sure others will chime in. Alot of truck clubs here, a quick google search should bring some up. Im in a local club, we offroad ATV's and trucks. That may not be your thing but if so I will give ya the link to our site.

www.str-offroad.org

We started out as just a bunch of friends that enjoyed offroading, got a basic web site and forums to make communication easier. We have about 10 active members and take trips bi-monthly where we make a weekend trip to one of the offroad parks here in Texas and spend the weekend drinking beer and trail riding. Good bunch of guys, mostly trucks, jeeps and samurais but I usually bring an ATV as does my brother. So about all things offroad are welcome

Oh man you suck! I have an Arctic Cat 400 and go out 2-3 times a month riding, could always use a riding buddy. Barnwell Mountian is about 4 hours away, a stock 150 could drove a couple of the trails rated 1 and maybe a couple 2's. The trails actually get pretty harsh, we are actually going there for a trip in october. Words cant beging to describe what an awesome park this is. Clean large camping areas and some of the most challenging trails in TX. Well worth the drive. Puck up another wheeler and get out there man
