I didn't know they still had tractor pulls.

I remember checking one out at the fair in Abilene, TX. I was standing next to this farmer in overalls when one of the tractors made a good pull. He said "MAAHN! That thangs gut the pire!!!" Took me, even with my drawl, a little bit to figure out what he had said.

 

Wait . . . don't tell me . . . I gotta learn to speak country now that I'm about to enter first stage hick status . . . .

Lol. He's actually from right around where I live. A friend's dad has a home video of one of his first shows in a bar. I watched it, and was pretty disappointed. No sleeveless flannel shirt, no camo hat, and most importantly, NO ACCENT. I think he is really funny, but it kinda ruins it knowing that it's all an act.

 

You guys would laugh your asses off if you could hear me speak. Us eastern Kentuckians have a purty pireful accent too. lol
