I think you're a skinny ****. But you shouldn't have any problems fitting in one. My neighbor has one... He's 6'1", and a good 220 - 250lbs.

Does the OP want a sporty car opinion, or some mindless moron talking up the Ford Fusion with its crap 200 ft/lb v6 motor?

The fusion is a slow car that looks good:

Ford Fusion SEL AWD V6 - 3.0L DOHC (221 hp) 6A + ABS 7.47 15.78 90.90 136

The Taurus gets the 263 hp 6 in 2008. If they drop that motor in the Fusion it would be a sweet ride.

I hope all these "facts" don't get your delicate panties in a bunch Zaairman....

something sporty?

hmmm...
4 doors,
big trunk,
baby seat connections,
great stereo,
roomy,
fairly good gas mileage,
400 horsepower
400+ ft lbs of torque
Will elevate you to the fastest on your block, or almost anywhere you go....

$17K.

Let me know if you want it.

A friend of mine had a 2004 wrx, but now has a 2000 2.5rs coupe w/ an sti swap. Both cars are loads of fun to drive. If I were to pick up a sporty sedan, I'd get a wrx in a heartbeat.

if he had said something like LOL FUSION SUX, then I'd understand. He stated his opinion, with reasons why, and alternatives, that's not trolling, that's posting on an internet forum.

the pontiac g6 is a nice ride for the money and pretty peppy. my buddie has one and i am impressed by it for what it is.

the dodge charger with the 3.5l V6 is also a good choice. dont get the 2.7l V6. plenty of them on the market because the rental fleets use them so resale isnt the greatest right now (good for us). you should be able to get a used one at a good price.

Yeah, I've already drooled over a few, unfortunately only 2 seater in the back, would need 3 (sorry didn't mention that in the original post)

Dodge Charger is interesting, haven't seen any around here within an hour anyway.

I worry about the G6 and/or the Grand Prix's in the winter, haven't heard good things about them. Anyone have experience with winters in one?

The only problems with the G6 are where they have cut corners to keep the price down and where the gimmicky stuff like the 3 panel sunroof causes headaches. It's basically a sound, good performing, and good handling car but there will be things that will drive you nuts. My stepdaughter has one and she is wishing she had waited for the 07 Camry with the new V6, those things haul ***.

Take a look at the bigger Hyundais - it looks like they have done a major quality turnaround in the past few years. I have a neighbor that loves his Mazda 6. You can't go wrong with an Accord but the used prices are quite high.
