I've been here eight years and I can count members who had them on one hand.

I've personally seen four, including mine and I'm always keep an outlook for them.

Just remember that rare and valuable are frequently very different.

I've only seen one in my life. It was a long bed 2wd, same colors as Raoul's. If I could find one with the 5.4 and regular cab, I'd snap it up in a heartbeat.

I know of 2 around here, both green and silver 4X4 flaresides.

What I want to know is why is my 99 XLT 5.4 4X2 Flareside have a Lightning vin and recalls from Ford, IE. cruz and tie rods, refer to me as Dear Lightning owner. If it is, where the hell is my SC. Bought my truck used, but I do know it was a special order.

Sled...

That shouldn't be possible. I'd like to run your VIN through OASIS just to see myself, to satisfy my curiosity. Shoot me an E-mail or PM if you want.

The VIN you sent comes up as a regular ol' F150, regular cab/flare side with a 5.4 2V and a 4R70W.

Oh, and get your cruise recall done before your truck catches fire.

Go ahead and get it done, it is the best deal going right now. They give you a free switch and your truck won't burn because of the bad one.
