When the truck came in I noticed it had no power steering cooler on it. For over two years and inumerable visits to the Ford dealer and the "so-called" customer service line it has done no good. The dealer who owns the dealership will not even meet with me phone me after i stopped in to see them ( two brothers). All Ford wants to say is that a power steering cooler was optional. Rubbish. No power steering cooler is ever an option. They promise to look into it but ignore you month after month. I advise anyone not to buy from the dealer I bought from Latham Motors in Latham, N.Y. The service manager will install one for me if Im willing to pay for something that every other F-150 with or without a tow package already has on it. Here is a bit of wisdom. Never buy or order a vehicle in May or June or later. The reason is when the assembly line runs out of a component they bypass the component and hope you will not notice. General Motors and the rest have done this for decades. The most common thing that is skipped on all vehicles is any kind of corrosion protection. The reason "It does not show". On my F-150 they have a useless steel tube run up to the front of the truck and back to the power steering pump. Yet on my spouses F-150 the exact same model except without a hitch or towing package she has a power steering cooler and a transmission cooler . Go Figure. Don't think you can get anyplace contacting Ford. All their customer service people do not know a door handle from a nut or bolt. They are just new hires in cubicles. This is the end of my relationship with Ford Motor Company. I hope they fold and Toyota takes over.
NO WAY!!!!

OH ****!!!

No, its true. Honda does the same thing. It took us 5 years to figure it out, but they ran out of hamsters, and threw a 4 cylinder internal combustion engine in our Civic...

Yeah, I guess thats whats wrong with my tailgate. I noticed yesturday it was some wood that had been nailed together and some red paint slapped on it. Must have ran out of the real tailgates so they got some crates and made me one out of them

Actually, in late July and August we start installing the leftover 8 track players we still have from the 70's. It's funny because no one ever notices.

Naw I dont belive it, they would make special badges and mark that as a RR package (Retro Ranger) that would make it cost more.

Damn guys you all are being a bunch of meanies. So his first and only post was groaning about Ford failing to give him the full package he ordered. That's a valid complaint in my book. Who wouldn't be up in arms over this same thing if it happened to them?? I bet most of you also replied to Rafa's JDM thread saying "Go Get'em!"

Grant it Disappointed2's post wasn't written in the best manner, but still give the guy a break here.

Ta Ta Tuuums

mmHmmm

I seriously wonder why you need a power steering cooler. As if you steer so much harder into any given direction with your truck when you have a trailer!?

You can't prove that because that thread was edited.

There was another reason my post count dropped 150, I just don't know what it is.
