Hey Kobi, wait, I just realized I never called the retatd from Texas a Texan. Just being from Texas doesn't make you a Texan.

How can you have not noticed the waitresses drawls? Y'all gotta be kiddin' me.

That guy was funny. "You guys know the highway . . . unintelligible . . . and the . . . unintelligible . . . and . . . something or other."

Based on how his eyes were lookin', I don't think he even saw us. Hard to miss that buffalo head though. Nice horsey.

Man, I think this thread got de-railed.

Probably because I was raised with it so I am use to it. I am told that I dont have it, but have no flipping idea how I couldn't.

You don't know how hard it was for me NOT to send him on a wild goose chase across town.
Draw him a map and send him 10 blocks north on Battelfield rd, 5 bocks east on Kansas Expy, 20 blocks south on Sunshine St, 5 blocks east on Glenstone Ave, and then 10 blocks north on Battelfield.

Cool Ahem...

It is my PROFESSIONAL opinion that those who make fun of Texas and people from Texas are in reality just jealous of Texans.

They know deep down that their state pretty much sucks compared to the greatest state in the U.S. and THE greatest place to live on God's Green Earth.

So, in closing, to those on these forums that disagree with me, I have but one final statement....

IM A GOSH-DARN TEXAN AND PROUD OF IT!!!

And there's nothin you can do about it!

Peace out...ya'll.

Not by Texan standards. BTW, you make Texas sound like another country. Well, maybe it is.

At one time, it was a separate nation---after it broke away from Mexico and before the US bought it at a garage sale...

What's an amusement park got to do with history? You need to study.

You, sir, are cruel.

By the way, even though it was my first time in Springfield, I know that Battlefield ran East and West, and the 13 (Kansas Expy) ran North and South . . . or else you mention these as reverse to demonstrate just how you would screw him up . . . that's probably it . . . I'm too tired to figure it out . . .

You are correct, I was messed up, Kansas Exp is hwy 13 N/S.
Wouldn't matter, he wouldn't have known.

I'd say it's more than 10 blocks between Kansas Exp and Glenstone too.
Again he wouldn;t have known. He'd either get totlaly lost or would have found the route and made the whole circle back to us.

Good 30-45 mins drive, 2-3 hours if he walked it. LOL
