OK Cobra Experts
Stay away. 01's were anemic and there was a recall issued for pissed owners when the car under-performed. the fix was a EEC reflash, intake change and exhaust.
00 R's are more or less collectible vehicles. I wouldn't drive one on a daily basis and a lightly modded 03+ will crush one in the straights. the 00 is lighter, but not something i'd want as a DD or even weekend driver.
ethanol is supposed to be great for aggressive tunes on blown applications.
and i'd check edmunds or KBB, but $20K sounds pretty high for a 7 year old car. i'd keep looking.

eBay just isn't on the short list of places I'd buy a vehicle for.
I know some love it, I'd prefer to deal with people I can drive a few miles and pound on if needed.
My wife is looking at this for a DD, I suspect we'll end up getting her into a new GT rag top when all is said and done. Her Equinox is only a few months old and she already has about 8000 on it, warranty is something I don't know if we really want to be without.
