One thing you should do, it's too late now but next year, is to not plant the same plants in the same area. Plants need different nutrients. If squash needs calcium and you keep planting your squash in the same area, you're going to run out of the calcium in the soil.

That's all I gots for ya Jamzy. Sorry I couldn't be much more help.

It's not the fertilizer, your plants look fresh and the leaves are pretty green.

I think your problem is that your plants have male blooms only.
Zucchinis (we call those courgettes) have male and female blooms.
Male blooms have only a stem, female blooms have what looks like a small fruit at the stem already.

Here is a picture.

Link won't work, sorry. It's the first pic on the link beneath.

Only female blooms will produce fruit.

The opposite is also possible or more female blooms than male blooms.
You have a problem with pollenation then. There is not enough pollen to pollenate the female blooms.
I know zucchini-growers here are exchanging male blooms for the pollen.

Here is the page where I got the pic from, it discusses the problem you are having. Sorry , only in Dutch but there are two more pictures.

How to manually pollenate.

Thake those off the male bloom.(I don't know how you would call those)

and pollenate like this.

If you have got so many fruits (female blooms) (more than you can eat), remove some of them in an early stage.
Your plants will last longer and the fruit will be bigger and of better quality.

You may also want to use a stick/poll or whatever and tie the plant onto it.

Did you notice that? Male and female blooms!!

F150Europe is correct - you need to manually pollenate, but it's nothing you've done. With all the rain this year (I'm near DFW Airport), there doesn't seem to be as many bees working this year.

Niiiiiiice.

Good info. I didn't know you could remove the "flower" part of the bloom and then use the actual bloom to pollenate.

Crap, now that I've seen it with my own eyes...it makes sense. I'm going to try that. That beats using a paint brush.

If he were a little smarter, he would have claimed he saw the guy from Rudy's and threw the refrigerator at him.
