I doubt any one will be paying to ride this any time soon.

Dude, you wouldn't want you hand in the way of the cable on your garage door opener, that only has 300 lb/ft of torque behind it- if it snapped.
PS: I don't do the wooden roller coasters either. I walked past the Texas Giant all day long. I rode shockwave (Cyclone- I forget the name) Flashback, Joker's revenge, and a number of other steel coasters. I'll ride the ones with loops, cork screws, etc. But, wood? I'll pass.
Only two (okay three) steel coasters have access to my "punk" card.
Titan: No.
Kingdaka (and it's clone): Hell No.
And, that one on top of that building in Vegas: Are you ****ing nuts?!

About wooden roller coasters....
They had one here at Ocean View years ago that some people were afraid to ride (creaks/sways).
When the Park finally shut down, someone bought the coaster to make a movie back in the seventies, I think it was called 'Death at Ocean View' or something.
Anyway, the plot had the whole thing come crashing down.
So, they cut some wood here and there and used explosives.
Smoke clears and it's still standing.
So, they cut a bunch more and used more explosives.
Smoke clears and it's still standing.
So, they cut it almost in half, tons of explosives and used a bulldozer and chain.
Smokes clears and that rickety old coaster that scared everybody had come down.
It was built in the 20's when a 2x4 was a 2x4 and nails and screws were gosh dern nails and screws.
Hey, it had Mike Conners in it.

Lb for lb wood is stronger than metal.
I actually trust wooden roller coasters more than I do metal ones.
All it takes is one weak weld or one mill flaw in the metal causing one section to be weak and the car leaves the track!!!!
Wood coasters, I could watch a board fall off of it on the ride in front of me and still wouldn't be worried about it.
