So if i understood correctly it was a four on three fight that turned into a four on two fight. The four where 3 adults and one minor with baseball bats and metal bars !!! Apparently the minor Zachery Jones (God rest his soul) that was killed must have been a big kid that the adults needed the aid of weapons to hurt him. I hope justice is swift on all of them. Prayers will be sent out to everyone affected by this tragedy.

 

Thats completly messed up. Im 17 and just thinking about this happening just scares me. Do those 3 people have anything better to do then to murder some kid? A kid! Not even 18 yet! That kid could of been our next president or somthing but we'll never know, thanks to these jerks!

 

I honestly don't think that Zach had went there planning to fight, I think he was going to try and talk his way out, how ever he knew a fight might take place. They hit him with a car before he got a chance to be diplomatic. Obviously going to an isolated park to meet an upset person that you don't know is not a good idea, should have at least made it somewhere public. To a 17 year old boy's mind, who did not have a male role in his life that he could remember, he was doing what he thought a man should do. He steered it away from his house so his mom and sister might not get hurt. These guys are obviously a few buckets short of a full cup of water, so wouldn't have bothered them to show up at his house looking for him.

The ironc part is, I swear I have had a run in with that Jerry Broyles, some where, sometime, over something. He looks sooo stinking familiar..... he is 6 years younger than me so it probably wasn't school. It obviously wasnt anything to major or I'd remember it better. I'd say it was work somewhere and he didnt have his brother, I'm a man so he would have been to scared to let it get to anything major. He probably tucked tail and cowered if I was guessing. They both just look like idiots that just get blown off, never get taken seriously, and obviously a few french fries short of a full happy meal.

 

I just wish that Zach would have let me, or his moms boyfriend (my next door neighbor since we were kids) let one or both of us know. I would have advised against them meeting there but if no choice given, I would have callesd the cops before hand and would have rather of been there. I carry a stick with a pipe too, but mine goes bang.

 

People just dont think anymore ! They dont realize that life is not a movie and when you hit someone with an object or shoot them they will probably die. You can get sued by just touching someone nowadays over nothing.
