i have set up verizon as my dsl provider instead of going thru my local isp who uses verizon anyway and is charging me out the wazoo. before all this happens, what should i do with my address book and stuff like that? will i loose anything or will it still be there when i put in the new disc? thanks.... guys and dolls......

The CD will just install the softare for teh new modem if aplicable, or will only change teh username and password of your current modem. It wont affect anything on your compuuter at all as far as outlook express address book or anything.
