They let Paris out ALREADY?????
Since when do they let people out of jail for "medical reasons"?
I'm sure sex offenders get shanked in prison every day but they're not letting them out.
Emotional distress is supposed to be part of going to jail.

Its not legal, Only a Judge can change the sentence.
It sounds like the Sherriffs department is now in a world of chit itself now.
Plus Paris is probably going back.

That said, in this case the public is going nuts and screaming bloody murder. The courts and the judge said they were not contacted and if they were they would have denied releasing her. The claim is medical reasons and interestingly enough, if the sheriff had released her on the basis of overcrowding, he would have been given slack . . . but this, the medical BS is going to cost him dearly. They have doctors and hospitals at their disposal . . . good old sheriff Lee Baca is about to get his head handed to him (even though he is allowed to do what he did). THey are quick to point out, it's not a :release" it's a transfer. Whatever.
The prosecutor just filed to have her brought back, and the legislature is calling for an investigation as to why she was really released. Heads are gonna roll on this one.
One stuck up selfish heiress and this entire town is turned upside down . . . now THIS is compelling televison . . . you can't write $h*t this good!

The Judge was contacted by the sherrifs dept. They said they were going to release her because she was on the verge of a phsyciatric break down. { Per her personal phsyciatrist }. So they wanted him to change the court ordered sentence.
The judge stood by his original sentence.
The Sherrifs Dept. let her go any ways.
Thats a violation of a court order, It said clearly that Paris is NOT to be on work release, house arrest, electronic monitering, ect., ect.
While they can release inmates due to over crowding, There are strict guidelines as to when. I beleive they have to serve at lease 50% of their sentence.
Which is why most people figured Paris would serve 23 days of her 45 day sentence.
They went out of bounds on this one.

Early reports said what you wrote above. Latest reports quote the Judge as saying that he was NOT notified and he didn't find out about it until this morning on the news. Same for the DA and members of the city council. The prosecutor was interviewed by the local CBS radio station . . . knew nothing of it until he was eating breakfast and heard it on the radio (she was released at 2:00 AM)
Right now, everyone is distancing themselves from the sheriff who is almost surely gonna get the blow on this.

There may be rules where you live . . . heck, they may even have rules here, but if they do, they never apply them when celebs and the super rich (and this town has most of them) get busted, and often don't apply them for the real criminals, regardless of who they are or how little money they have. In this town, Money/fame = you walk . . . . . . all others = you'll probably walk

According to People magazine, Hilton was having trouble behind bars.
"She cries all day," a source told the publication. "She looks unwashed, she has no makeup and her hair is tangled. She cried audibly through the first two nights."

Whens the last time you heard of someone loving being behind bars, smiling and singing, taking perfect care of themselves?
Oh wait... MAKEUP? WTF? Why do you need makeup in jail?
