Another you might look at is the Sony DSC-H7. It can be had with a wide angle lens for about $560, $399 for the camera and $160 for the lens, which gives you more money for the extra accessories you might want, memory card extra battery, etc. I just got one a few weeks ago. Haven't used it much, but so far I am happy with it.

So we pulled the trigger on a Nikon D40X with a wide angle lense as well as some other little goodies.

I've been snapping pictures today of everything!

They tried to sell me a 3-Year Warranty that covers everything but it was $350. Whats the point in that!? I can guy a brand new camera for $700.
