It doesn't mattter, you'll wreck on either of them. . it just hurts more on a ATV.

I'd go with the Raptor 700 as well, unless you plan on racing than get the 450.

Better dump your dirt bike habits when you make the change. Putting a foot down trying to turn will be an attention getter!!

That aint no joke either!!!!

Only funny cause I've done it!
Nothing like running over your own leg with the back tire!!!!!
Of course it took me a few times of doing to to break the trained reflex. It's a wonder I never broke my leg or did anything more than have tire markes on my pants and maybe some slight friction burns on my calves.

you made a good choice going with the Raptor

I have a YFZ450 and I love it but if you're not plannin on racing then you are wasting your money with one of them

you're right but let's put it this way

YFZ450's require alot of maintenance to stay running good and it's not worth the time and money if you are just a casual rider who likes to hit up the trails every once in a while

if you aint racing or at least riding tracks then a YFZ450 or 450R etc is not the fourwheeler you want

It hurts more when an ATV hits you on a dirtbike!! Why do I think of an XR600 when I see your name Thumper??

I'm not too sure of the first part but alright.

But the second part is probally because a XR600 is a 4-Stroke which is commonly referred to as a Thumper. I used to race CRF250s. If you already knew all of this, than disregard.

Enduros are big around here and we have 100s of miles of trails. Every now and then a quad and dirtbike collide. We do have fatalities and NJ is an anti-dirtbike and anti-quad state so these accidents hurt the cause of owning them. Our state probably owns more quads and dirtbikes than it's residents.

And yeas I was thinking a thumper was a large 4 stroke. I was even thinking my old DR 350 was a thumper.

Have you guys heard anything good or bad about the Yamaha Wolverine 350?
you are going to love the 700, it is a great dune bike and trail bike, i see you live in long beach, you should take the new toy out to Pismo beach, i will be out there June 15-17 with my family, look for my truck pulling a toy hauler, along with a H2 and a big chevy HD. great choice by the way, here is a pic of my 700 when i first got it

Sweet.
Mine's the SE 2, so it's White...looks like yours is the GYTR edition?

We've got some spaces at Pismo reserved for labor day, but I don't think I can go for Father's Day (June 17th).
