I hate doing this, but.....
Yes, I believe that the Factory Five GTM is a nice car. It's a hell of a car for the money!
Which color do you like better?

There are a couple of us in this thread that live pretty close to Factory Five racing. One really close. I've been there, took these pics while there, but I have to drive for just over an hour to get there.
That place is a car enthusiasts wet dream. They have all there stuff just waiting for me to purchase. You can see in the pic of the yellow GTM, that there are shelves and shelves of chassis and body pannels. Parts here. Parts there. And on this day there were a ton of cars outside, made from parts like the stuff inside:

Wait. Alice Cooper is an author too?
I guess I need to get out more.
Time hit GooGle and do some research.

There is however a place close by to me. B&B Roadster or something like that. They make a Cobra kit, and a 32 coupe (I think) kit. I've talked to the guy by email, and he invited me up sometime this summer, and said if I wanted he'd track down a local customer, so I could take a look at an actual homebuilt kit... I will definitely take him up on that, but I keep hearing FF5 is the way to go...
BTW, I REALLY like the dark red GTM, and if I could afford it I'd build one...

Ditto.
I'd like to have one just to play with. I'm not a gear gearhead, but I like to tinker with stuff. IMO, that would be a great project that I could take my time with, and do WHATEVER the hell I wanted to do to it.

I want a 6-speed BAD!, and I want to do whatever and not feel bad about butchering a classic... I've talked to Keisler (sp) about putting a 6-speed in the Camino, but I really think I want to leave it auto and build a 6-speed Ford with the Lincoln drivetrain I have. Crazy as it may sound I really want to have a one of each, and I've already got a good start on Chevy and Mopar, but I've probably got too many vehicles as it is...

I'm sure they'll get over it. Hell, it's your project. If they dont like it....they don't have to look at it.
