Black on black (I know I'm gonna regret that . . . always washing it . . . )

Screw the Tundra . . . this thing rocks.

Flame suit is on.

That's a sweet ride. I like it. I feel as if the nav system is way to low though. Have you sat in one yet Kobi? How are the ergos? You'd think they would have pushed the gadgets up and placed the vents on either side.

At first glance, I thought this thread had been majorly hijacked. Upon closer inspection, not sure it was hijackable.

Sat in it, drove it, drove it some more . . .

Ergonomics are OK. I would not get Nav so I don't care (in fact, the one I drove is one of the few that didn't have Nav). (More on this in a moment).

The seats are good, although not as comfortable as my car (although few things are). My LS has Nav and one thing I don't like about it is that the radio, all the climate controls, etc, are, at one level or another, tied into that screen. If it goes, you're screwed. Now, not that I don't trust GM or their electronics, but I don't trust over-complicated gadgets by anyone, period. The less do-dads gizmos the less can go wrong. I want a stereo that is operated by *****, just like God intended, and a dual-climate control system (yes, it has dual climate control) operated by buttons, not some touch screen.

And speaking of stereos . . . it's that damn Bose crap. First thing that would go is the speakers. However, nothing will ever compare to the Mark Levinson system in my car. (Sounds almost as good as the home system). So just about anything I relpace it with is still going to be disappointing . . . oh well.

The seats are good and everything is within easy reach (then again I have really long arms), and even with the sunroof I had a ton of headroom. Rides really nice (although it's still a truck), lots of torque in the low end, however, even with 404HP, it's not exactly blowing off the line.

It's a very big truck, sits up high, (and I forgot how much I miss that, even though the Lightning wasn't all that high up). Very nice truck.

By its very nature this thread has no subject, therefore it is not "hijackable" in the purest sense of the word . . .

So, let's review:

Your claims to fame at this point are:

Rudy's.
Refrigerators as projectiles.
A nebulous thread.

These days, that's good enough to qualify for being a subject on the Biography Channel. I'm gonna give one of their producers a call.

In addition to calling the kids over at the Bigraphy Channel, I'm calling Urs Lacotte over at the IOC. We're gonna get this made into a sport. I see a gold medal in your future!

Thanks. I was glancing through Alice's new book, Golf Monster, and was commenting about his game. The other morning when I woke up I felt like Alice looks when in character and commented on it . . . this of course turned into a sig. That's pretty much how I look and feel until I've ingested about three mugs of java.
