I'm from Atlanta so it is all Coke to me...though I seldom ever drink the stuff anymore...anything that will clean the corrosion off a battery CANNOT be good for the body

I call it soda, although back home I would be disowned for this, since in Minnesota it is officially referred to as "pop".........

On a related note, I have a soda dilemma in my family. I am totally and completely addicted to Diet Pepsi, and absolutely despise the taste of Diet Coke. The problem is that my father-in-law was a VP of Sales for Coca-Cola for 20+ years, and when he's around we can't even go to a restaurant that isn't a Coke account!

I **** with him all the time by drinking a Diet Pepsi on the way up to his house and then secretly placing the empty can on the antenna of his car!

I live in Mo and we have border wars on “pop” and “soda”. I went to college in the middle of the state and heard all the St Louis people call it soda. On the west side of the state it is “pop”.

I usually say Coke, sometimes soda. I don't drink much of any of it, I prefer water or Iced Tea.

It's soda when talking in general. But I ask for a specific brand when ordering.

I always tell my wife "Babe, can you bring me a soda?" This is significant of Dr. Pepper. It's all we drink.

In a restaurant, I say "I'll take a Dr Pepper please." If they don't have Dr Pepper, I get root beer. That is all.

Yeah, in MN they call it pop. And then I moved to CA and they didn't know what I was talking about, so I picked up the term "soda". Now I'm back in MN and they tease me for saying "soda". So I gave up both terms and just order BEER!

No it's not....

Who makes Coke????

I've seen Coca-Cola before but not Coke..... if someone brought me a container labeled Coke would I drink it or snort it?

Coke is not a registered trade mark, there for it is generic.

Silly Jersey girl.
