Theres no need to call him an idiot.

Thank You

I should have known better than to IMPLY something. Most people are so freaking stupid you have to spell it out for them.

A MAN never walks away from a pregnancy. EVER. A guy who does isn't a real man to begin with. As long as the man involved is legally responsible for the end result of a pregnancy, he should have every right to have a say in the matter. A woman knows the posible results of laying with a man. Even in rape, there is an innocent life involved. I understand that a woman would not want to raise such a child; but, adoption is a more reasonable option to killing the child. You and I would not exist today had we been aborted. There is no 'do over'. That person is gone before he has a chance at life. This is not a religious issue. It's an ethics issue.

Theres more to being a father then paying child support.

You made a straight forward statement. Podunk gave you the benefit of the doubt, and added more to what you said. Get better at implying, and maybe you won't continually put your foot in you mouth. Or better yet, learn to express yourself better.

No kidding. Very insightful.

Like I said before, it's a complicated issue. There are no pat answers. There's more to it than... "Duh. It's her body.... Uh... and it's her choice. Doh!"

The way I see it, we ALL know what you're saying is both LOGICAL & TRUE. Problem is, this issue is oft tainted with emotions & legal procedings.

If EVERYONE would behave themselves, the very issue would be extremely rare and never spoken of & we wouldn't need phrases like "Dead Beat Mom/Dad" or "Custody Hearing" or "Child Support Payment" or "Visitation Rights" or (my personal favorite) "My Baby's Mom/Dad". The very issue makes people act like idiots.

A REAL MAN would never walk away from a woman he fathered a child with.

A REAl WOMAN would never sleep around to the point she doesn't know who the her baby's daddy is.

Then there are those that bomb abortion clinics like some kind of freaking retards. Playing judge, jury, executioner all at once & commiting multiple murders, arson, etc to prevent something that IS LEGAL presently in the US of A.

Then there are the ****** that sleep with every guy they can find & try to pin a daddy tag on the first one stupid enough to fall for it.

Then there are those that use abortion as a birth control method.

Then there are crack ****** that have kid after kid to get more welfare money.

Then there are those that will not consider any kind of birth control because their religion forbids it.

It is a very touchy subject & I still firmly believe I have no right to an opinion on it until it directly affects me. If the **** down the street (yes, I do have a **** that lives 2 doors down) has 18 abortions (I don't know if she ever has, I'm just using her as an example), I simply don't care. Do I think she's a bad person? I fail to see how I am afforded the right to judge people in such a manner.

The last time something of this nature affected me, it was 1994. I was 20 & some b$tch I had a one night stand with said I knocked her up. When the baby was born, he was black as could be. I refer you to my gallery to see what I look like. Needless to say, to this day, I think this girl is a lying skank *****.

If you still insist on calling me an idiot, go right ahead. I've been called worse by better people than you'll ever be.

Look dude, I'm trying to keep this civil because I enjoy a good political debate. So please leave me alone, I'm simply not in the mood for it.

I don't think (or at least hope) there are any women that say to themselves, I'll just go get an abortion if I get pregnant. It's the last thing in the world a woman with any moral values wants to do. But sometimes, there are reasons that make it a necessity. I hate the thought of killing a fetus, but I will not condemn any woman for feeling there is a need/necessity to do this.

I'm not taking sides here in this arena, but wouldn't it be great if the strong always looked out for the weak. What if the defenseless all over our great nation could count on someone to come to their aid. I'm not talking about social welfare, I'm talking about love your neighbor as yourself. I don't buy into this " It don't affect me "attitude because everything like this affects everyone some way.Oh well, lets be civil. I can debate with the best but when it gets nasty it's not a debate any longer. You know the Dems say they want to lend a helping hand to those in need and don't and the Reps say they are compassionate and I ain't seen much from them either.

OK, enlighten me. How does a woman getting an abortion in say, Witchita, Kansas affect me, sitting here in the CPRofNJ? I'll save you the trouble, it doesn't. No way, no how.

If it's your religious convictions that make you say this, that's fine, I have no problem with anyone believing anything they want. Just don't try to tip-toe around the subject with guilt.

So is it safe to say that the people who are Pro-Life also don't believe in the Death Penalty?

I'm Pro-Choice. And that's that.

I'm also Pro-Death Penalty. I think we should install express lanes.

I wouldn't want a woman to abort my child. And I feel I should have a say in the decision.

But, it's not my body and I don't think any man has the right to judge a woman for her decision. It's her choice.

Every woman I have ever had a conversation with about abortion agree that it is her choice.

And every woman I have talked to that had an abortion, stated that they regreted it. Wished they have given the child up for adoption instead.

But it's a tough area of debate. I can't really take a solid stand on either side, just glad I have never had to make that decision.
