What kind of grudge? Did something happen to you that involved ciggerettes or someone smoking while it happened?

Smokers dont tend to hold grudges, atleast not with out serious foundation.
Maybe I'm bias but I dont see smoking as being founded. I tend to look down on prejudice people. So I guess we are looking each other in the eye.

Good idea. I think that I will switch from cigarettes to meth.

No, nothing really happened, its just plain gross. Everytime I get into a smokers car at work, I practically gag. I'm just in it for a few seconds pulling it into the shop, but even those few seconds are hell. There's ashes everywhere. Mostly I don't like it cause 99% of the population in my school smokes... Why? Cause its still the "I'm badass factor". The hillbillys too- big womps of chaw in their fat disgusting lip, spitting it everywhere.

It's sad when people have to depend on that kind of stuff, especially since its basically all in their head.

When I smoked, I loved being around people like you. I would light one up to **** someone off, knowing that they hate it. That was satisfaction to me, not the cigarette, just the simple fact of knowing.

The way I quit was I smoked my last cigarette out of my last pack and I was too lazy to go get anymore. That's when I decided to quit. I was an easy pack and a half to two packs a day. At least that much, more when I was out drinking.

Haha. No not really. But I would be a strong supporter of banning smoking everywhere. Even in cars with children. They don't deserve to be exposed to your nasty habit.

I used to smoke 2 packs a day for 20 years. One day I started adding how much I was spending on cigs and the $$ scared me (and I bought them in the military base at a discount).

Then I just STOPPED!

You have to really want to quit for it to work.

I hate smoking. I think it is very gross and is a waist of money. My mom smoked ever since I can remember. She quit when she was pregnant with me but it still had a factor of her previous smoking and my dad smoking while she was pregnant that cause me to have the Asthma I have today. The doctor's have told me this and I know sometimes they tend to say this and that causes everything. Just like perty much everything around us causes cancer. Well my moms smoking cause her to have a heart attack when I was about 10 and then this past September she had another one and she never made it through. Now I have to live with the fact she is gone. People say well i have to die some day. Which is true but why make that day come sooner and the people you love suffer. Not saying just because you smoke you will die sooner but why take the chance. I am 20 and I have never once tried smoking or do I ever plan on it. If you want to smoke hey it is your choice but please be curtious to the people around you. I don't hate people that smoke. My dad still does it to this day he tries to go outside and my mom always went outside after i talked to her about it and I respect that part

The only reason I would want others to smoke is if I owned a cigarette company to make $ off of them.

As a tax write-off, I would then buy several non-profit lung cancer treatment centers across the USA...so the patients can live longer and keep on buying my cigarettes

Yah... I wish my Dad would quit smoking near me... I hear you. Greatest post I've read... I couldn't have expressed it any better.

I used to smoke 1-2 packs daily but when I was 30 I was going up 3 flights of stairs with a 60 year old and when we got to the top I had to take a lil' break and that dudette looked at me like I was crippled.I quit within 3 days. I tried the patch and couldn't keep it lit, tried the gum and couldn't get it lit to start with, then I tried accupuncture and 'bout bled to death so finally I just quit. Boy am I glad 'cause now I weigh 60 lbs too much and I'm a reformed smoker,,you know the kind,,like when you got a smoke lit the kind who gets all up in your face and tries to mooch a free puff

This one's way too funny....

Yeah let's teach our children to be biased and pass laws against something that's gross and unpleasant. That seems to a real nasty habit lately.

What's next? Ban slaughter houses for being gross and unpleasant?

I can go on and on here.

I dipped for 5 years and it wasnt easy to quit. just throw em down its hard but you have to. sunflower seeds helped me a lot just having something in my mouth. I also chew on toothpicks alot too. I tried to take one when i was drunk about a month ago and it almost made me sick and now i cant stand it. Its all mental. If you really want to quit bad enough you will.. Just talking about it is simply just talking about it. Throw em down and dont pick them up no matter how strong your craving are. You're going to let a little white piece of paper conquer a grown man?
