my '04 supercrew got stolen
did you file a police report ?
Call the insurance company, give them the police report number and the officer's name, then tell them they have two business days to tell you how they are going to deal with this before you call the State Insurance Commissioner and your attorney. if they don't respond the way you want them to .. then call the Commisioner's office, and start the process of filing the complaint.
The insurance company has to tae your claim, and they have to investigate it, and provide a valid reasonfor denying it.
the single biggest factor will be whether or not you filed a police report, and what the conclusion of that report was.
Let the insurance comissioner work for you, prior to involving an attorney.

Im with Gipraw, you need to take further action with your insurance company. If you haven't filed a police report, then you need to immediately. I have faith in you that you already did that though. It sounds like your insurance company could be playing the odds that you won't fight their decision, but theives can get around most anything these days, so what they are saying isn't true. Maybe you could find some information on how many 2004+ F150's have been stolen over the last few years and relay that information on to them.
What do you think you have been paying them for?
Sorry for your loss, I hope it gets resolved quickly.

So were you Paying your insurance company to cover Theft? Was that in your policy? Or were you just paying for accident insurance? My guess is Theft IS listed in your policy. If they accepted the money, then they need to pay.
yeah bluejay, there's lots of f350's get stolen here because they don't have any kind of anti theft on them from the factory but i don't know how many f150 and f250 get stolen because they have the factory anti theft and are "impossible" to steal according to my insurance company. i have a buddy in the tow business and he says the f350 is one of the most stolen vehicles next to dodge minivans.

Yep, the F150 is the least stolen vehicle according to reported car theft statistics.
Wonder why the F350 would be the most stolen and the F150 the least? I think your buddy in the tow business is basing this entirely on anecdotal evidence.

But now that I says this, it would be no problem to steal mine either. Maybe a moment more to take it out of park which can be done easy under the vehicle. I just hope that extra minute or two will send them on their way to some other unlucky owner.
My set of keys - and also a little card inside my owner's manual book - came with a little barcoded thing that's unique to your PATS, the better to replace your keys should you lose them my Pretty.. LOL.. yeah, not helpful, they probably towed your truck..
...
And yes, money, guns and LAWYERS.. lawyer up, PATS is no excuse to deny you, that's a lame *** answer.. Good luck, hope they do you right!!

I don't think you even need to lawyer up for this...I think a call to the States Attorney General's Office it will get the Ins companies full attention...
Tell them you filed a police report on a stolen vehicle and as long as your paid up on premiums...You should be good to go...
Insurance companies can't just off the cuff make that assumption...They have to prove it is a fraudulent claim...Not the other way around...
That is what the Atty Gens. are supposedly there for...

Insurance does not work like that. I don't believe your story..... No insurance company would reject a claim based on any alarm or PATS system failing to prevent your truck from being stolen.
Why so many questions on how to bypass the system?
this doesnt add up to me.....i have never heard of a insurance company doing this. i think you are trying to get us to tell you how to break into F150s.
if your not........this isnt really that difficult man, file a police report and go to the AG office if your insurance is playing hardball. what are you waiting for?????
