Window tint house windows?

It looks easy to do, but I've seen as many good tint jobs, as I have jokers riding around town with their back window looking like it has a case of chickenpox.

I've done mine and it's much easier than doing a vehicle. All of the panels are flat, not curved like automobiles.

I was told by a window installer to be careful of putting tint on home windows. I had a couple of windows crack. He stated that the heat is reflected and trapped in between the two panes and creates excessive heat build up and pressure which cracks one of the panes.

I know foil can sometimes do that, but some 35% window tint shouldn't hurt anything.

Got 5% on the bedroom window though.
