I know Sadaam was a bad guy and all, there are a Lot more out there just like him, but when did the US become the worlds BabySitter? Reinforce our borders. If somebody messes with us, Destroy Them, Like we did in Afghanistan. We still haven't finished that job!
You don't police a Civil War you choose a side and fight in it. Since this war has been characterized as a civil war I would say we chose the governments side and are helping them fight it while at the same time training them. If we cause a problem then leave when it is still a problem that does nothing to help our national interests. If we leave now there will be no going back to help. pakastanis are still angry that we stopped helping them many years ago, the same will happen in Iraq if we don't finish the job.

The US has been the babysitter for decades. Get over it. Iraq NEVER stopped fighting the first war, ever. So to use your words they NEVER stopped messing with us. We are now "destroying" them.

We are; look at my post where I said
The military has not been allowed to do it the right way since Korea
.

Korea was the first all out war where we had to start playing by rules that were made by politicians instead of warriors. As a result, the job still ain't done, and we're still pissing around instead of getting it over with...

Global cooling changed to global warming when environmental activists realized they couldn't make any money predicting an ice age.

Ahhh! You've given me an idea! Maybe enviromental activists can't make money on global cooling, but I can. I'm in the plumbing and heating field. I can sell people some real nice heating systems.

So, what do I have to do to bring back the global cooling scare? Should I do it diplomaticly?

How about plumbing, heating, and air conditioning. That way you're prepared for whatever happens. Global warming, global cooling, global sewage....

Because iraq has oil!! duh!! north korea doesn't. I will not apologize for that either. Stability in the area that we are so dependent on is no crime. That is the main reason. And it is a noble reason. The world economy depends on it. Not just America. How short sighted can liberals be? This is just so incredible to me. Of course it is the dumbocrats that won't let us drill for oil on our own property so we are less dependent on middle east oil. What friggen idiots. The close second reason is the human abuse factor. I defy anyone to say that we are better humans than the iraqis. As a human rights enforcer we are second to none. Are we perfect? No!! but we do more for human rights than any other nation. And Iraq is one that we are helping at the moment. When did the US become the worlds baby sitter? since we are the biggest baddest power on earth. Right is right. Wrong is wrong. As powerful as we are, we can only do one or two battles at a time. Now if the spinless countries like france and germany would help out a little... then the battle would be shorter. Oh wait.. they are socialists... that philosopy has proven over and over NOT TO WORK!! But if the dumbocrats have there way.. we will try that experiment again. Friggen idiots!! Be responsible for yourself, quit being a victom, get a job and buy parts for your trucks!!! DUH!!

I can solve all these problems.

1. Global warming.... Set your air conditioner on High while you drive. It will even things out.

2. Fat kids..... Make them earn the money to go buy all that junk food.

3. Health care.... If you have no insurance and have to go to the emergency room, you can spend a day cleaning out bed pans. { I assure you, people wont request free health care unless they absolutely need it. }

4. Iraq.... Get them all big screen T.V.'s, Play stations, Cable modems, and Home computers. I find it hard to beleive that even a young Muslim male could resist the power of free internet ****. After a few months they will all be playing War Craft and Everquest.

Are there any other problems you want me to solve??

Although someone from Alberta misses the sarcasm and satire of my post that lead this thread, this response is what I'm talking about!

Although the mass media has portrayed us, the people of the United States of America, as pacifists, I refuse to believe that this is a general consensus.
I believe, and there are apparently others that believe, that we NEED to fight to retain FREEDOM!

Diplomacy can work. Just not with terrorists, and nations that support them. I'm not being brain washed by the current administration. I just think that it's necessary to take a proactive approch to this issue.

. . or we could give them all of our gaming systems that are found in the homes of obese person(s). They will be easier to snipe if they put more weight on from sitting around playing damn video games and eating Cheetos.

PS: I say get rid of the political parties, why are our politicians trying to fight for a certain party? . . instead of fighting for the American people. By the way Chris, a lot of Democrats arn't far left wing'd bastards that don't know their *** from their head. But, if you really are that ignorant than good luck to you in life.

You dont want fat terrorists.

The fatter they are, the bigger the belt.

Thus the more explosives they can stuff in their pants.

By that time they will be more concerned with playing Warcraft 19, stuffing food down their pants, and than eating that food later to worry about blowing up everything. If we could deport all pot to overseas, we could get rid of drug problems here, plus they'd all be so stone to want to do anything but eat more and sit around. The only trick is we need to find out how to MAKE them smoke it instead of selling it for bombs or more video games. . it's a toss up which one they'll buy.

Whether it was sarcasm or not doesn't matter, that mentality just strikes a nerve with me because there are WAY TOO MANY liberal loving people especially in the eastern half of this country who believe exactly what your opening post said. Up until last year when we finally got a government with some *****, you could have classified this countries government in the same group as France and Germany. Sad and frustrating, but true.

It's the same in this country as you know. That's precisely why I did the post the way I did. If I just come out and criticize liberals than I'm just called a neo-con.

For some reason people in this country don't see the significance of your country electing a conservative leader, as Mexico did also. Because the current administration is (supposed to be) conservative, people that claim to be conservative are often considered neo-cons.

I really don't understand the passive approch the liberals want to take in the war on terror. They're certianly not passive when it comes to domestic policies, especially the ones that involve spending large amounts of tax dollars to "help" a few.

From where I am, it doesn't look good for our country. The people that I talk to know that they hate Bush, but can't offer much beyond that. Governments and politicians are inherantly flawed. This I believe, but would rather not see a passive, flawed administration in office. Unfortunatly, I have only one vote.
