April Snow Pics

Well I thought I would be working on the lawn soon, but we got about 4 inches of snow last night. I figured I would post a few pics for people like Jamz who enjoy some scenic shots every now and then.

OUTSTANDING.

Thanks for sharing.

Yep, we are pretty much done with winter, and spring has arrived in full force here in Texas. I already have my garden planted. Yard is green (sorda), and trees are blooming everywhere. Dogwoods look amazing this time of the year.

I love snow pictures....I guess because it's something we Texans only experience once in a blue moon. Again, thanks for sharing.

Yea I raked out all the flower beds and planned on dethatching(sp?) the yard this weekend coming up. With the new snow, I guess it's gonna be a couple more weeks. It really does get annoying after a while with the snow and all. Now, I just want spring to come. I would love to see some pics of the dogwood though.

I didn't know that many people enjoyed scenic shots...I thought it was only Jamz I wish I had a nice camera and knew what I was doing, I would have taken better photos.

Well, I guess I missed the dogwoods blooming. The wife and I went to look for a new fridge today, and I brought the camera along just in case I saw some.

Not a damn one.

BUT...I did take some pics of the new grass I got growing in the back yard. That's the best I can do.

Before I seeded:

2 weeks after I seeded:

It'll be awhile, but I'll get my lawn back.

You should have cleared up all that debris before throwing that seed down. I always dethatch, rake and sometimes even a light tilling before I throw seed. Nonetheless, I'm sure your lawn will look good before long. I just need to wait for this snow to melt before I can get back to working on mine.
