Why is the closet bigger than any of the other rooms listed????

If that is the actual closet size.... You could stack my house on top of it's self inside his closet and stil have room for a butt load of clothes around it......

Ohh and BTW,

I am on 10 acres 2 wide 5 deep, I cant remember the width in feet but because of the hills it's 1/2 mile deep. Land is surveyed by line of sight, so the more hills you have the more land you own.
8 of mine is heavy woods and still there is not a place that you can stand and not see the property border.

Somehow, I think those will be the least of his worries.

"Gosh, $10,000 to the county?" Excuse me while I whip this out of my sock drawer."

Well, hell- I'm Po, and I have to pay $3,700/year in Property tax, and my house would fit in LeBron's house, 16 times.

If this isn't a prime example of what's wrong with society, nothing is. Here's an assclown who probably doesn't know how to spell his own name & yet he gets enough money to build a house the size of a third world country. This Lebron POS is simply showing off. I don't care if he's the best ball player on the planet, NO ONE is worth that much money, NO ONE. I sincerely hope, & I mean this 100%, he hurts himself & loses his contract. Normally, I'm not this spiteful but this simply pisses me off. I have boycotted Nike for the rest of my life because of the ridiculous endorsement deal they gave him. Somehow I think the values in the US have gone bye, bye. No one bats an eye about paying an illiterate scumbag ball player eleventy billion dollars but teachers responsible for educating the youth of the country are pretty much paid squat.

KC-10 FE out...

I do agree the pay scale does seem to be upside down when you look at it with out thinking about it, valued careers that do so much to help benefit society like teaching and case workers etc etc etc etc..... are all way under paid. IMO I'd love to see them get at least 100K a year each, but if they did then we'd have illiterate self centered, un educated Nimrods abusing and not teaching our children just for the pay check. There would be no such thing as quality education anymore. The opportunity is there for the teachers as well as you and I to make eleventy kabillion dollars too, some just choose not to.

God Bless America Land of Opportunity.

I am neighbors with "Penny" hardaway. His house is smaller than mine. But it it one of his many houses. I would rather have 3 small houses than one big one By the way he is a great guy!

That must be his cottage because I saw his house in Phoenix on MTV Cribs and he said that the house he grew up in in Memphis was smaller than his master bedroom in that house.

Yea, I would say his house here is about 5-6 thousand sq. feet, but it is 30 yards from hole 18 of a professional tournament golf course in a gated community

Amen.... Well said.....

This is exactly the reason you practically have to take out a second mortgage to take your family to a professional sporting event and pay ridiculous amounts for sneakers etc.

I agree 100%...they should pay our teachers, police, fire, military etc. a hell of a lot more than these douchebags.........

Like I said though, the result would be a bunch of people who could care less about the job, they are only there for the HUGE paycheck.
Who cares if this kid don't know the alphabet, pass them and get them out of my hair... (as if we don't have enough of these pathetic excuses for teachers across the country anyway)
So houses burn.... so what it's not theres...
Your wife Gets Raped... so what it's not theirs...
Military.......... might attract a few more people with higher pay but moral and camaraderie would be loooooow. (as you know cant BT like we use to, it's "inhumane" and that has proven that it cant break their spirits as well. Just imagine someone just being there buying thier time to get the paycheck......)

Yeah, $150.00 fine, loss of one stripe, and 15 days of extra duty wouldn't carry the same amount of weight, if a Private E-1, was making $60,000/year. Not that soldiers don't deserve good pay (A backpay check would be nice for the years I served), but if everyone is rich, then being rich doesn't mean sh!7.

Personally, I'd like to have that kind of money myself, but I don't resent those that make it... Hell, at LEAST James "earned" his money.

He's damn near single-handedly carried the Cavaliers to the playoffs since he's been there. No one can sit here and tell me they'd turn down an endorsement deal... My point is, at least he's earned his by working his **** off, and developing a skill people will pay him for.

What annoys me, is when some SOB get's "rich" because their folks had money. (Walton Family, Hilton sisters).

Now, the Walton's don't put it in your face (Well, at least it's not in the media) so I don't have beef with them. But, when someone is flashy with their parents (Or great grandparents) money, it gets no respect from me. Earn what you can on your own, and quick sucking on the teet of your parents. But, if must must suckle the wealth from the nipples of your ancestor's, at least do it in a classy, humble manner.

They haven't done a damn thing to "earn" money, or "develop" a skill, yet- they have access to more money than Lebron will ever earn... That, to me, is foul.

So you're wishing harm to a person who is not responsible for the upside down insanity of pay based on "x" instead of "y"?

While it's entirely noble to have pay based on how "important" a job is, your dissatisfaction and anger is misdirected. Why wish James ill (and others like him) when it's not his fault he's paid that much. Blame the people watching, the fans, and the messed up values that create the market for such things like that to happen.

Now from a business standpoint, it makes sense. There are those who say someone (or something) is worth what someone is willing to pay. But, that's not entirely true. The folks cutting the cheques do so because of the return. Athletes and celebs are the usual examples so I'll use them. First, keep in mind, especially with athletes, they they rarely make the amounts that announced publicly. For athletes the figures quoted are future pay with a lot of caveats, a lot of things have to happen for all that money to be paid (not to mention it's more PR BS than anything else) . . . so, especially for jocks, it's rarely ever as much as announced . . . but that's probably not enough to lessen your dislike of James . . . so let's look at some movie star type.

Pretend you're a producer. You've got a really good script and it's gonna make a really good movie. For our example we'll disregard everything that goes into making a picture and narrow it down to this . . . after all is said and done you have a choice. You can pay some mildly known actress a few hundred grand to play the lead. She's great for the role and anxious to do it. OR. . . you can get Julia Roberts for the lead. You got her to read the script, she loves it and she'd be great for the part.

So . . . the unknown's pay is fair and keeps your budget low . . . Julia demands 100 times the pay . . . 20 friggin million dollars and for what?!?!?! Acting in a movie? What a joke? and why should she make that kind of money? It's not an important job, she's doing nothing really useful . . . and that may be true, but let's look at it from the producer's POV.....

If you hire the mildly known actress and pay her the 200K your box office is going to be 40 Million if all goes well. If you hire Julia and pay her 20 million you're movie is going to make 160 Million.

Your 20 million invested just made you 120 million more, maybe more if it's a big hit.

So what would you do?

Is she overpaid? Not with returns like that. Is she worth it? Well, you do the math. Does she deserve to be wished ill? I don't think so (especially if it's me paying her and hoping for big box office) . . . Is it disproportionate pay based on the nobility side of things? Well, sure, you could make that argument, but who's to blame? Blame Sam and Sally Suburbia who enjoying watching Julia Roberts in movies. Throw her name up on the marquee and people will come to watch and drop 12 bucks a ticket.

People like that make the money they do because in the market they're in they "earn" it because they offer a return on investment far greater than the bucks spent on them. So, they're "worth" it.

If you want to get pissed, look to worthless CEOs. Some are great and are worth the large amounts they are paid, but a larger percentage of them are pulling down big dollars and losing money for their companies . . . than are players in the entertainment business (and sports is entertainment).
