Hey, I have an idea...why don't you two monkeys go back over to Stealths million dallor thread, instead of hacking mine to death.

Thanks in advance.

Jamz, I worked for a few years at an engineering firm doing land development & design as a CAD tech. I have a few buds and a cousin that worked there on the surveying crews. Are you looking to become a RPLS? If you're planning on going to school and work full-time, you should look into working for an engineering firm that has tuition reimbursement.

Sup Booder.

Actually, I was hoping to do that with Hearn Surveying here in Athens. It's a small company, and I don't think they will re-imburse me for any classes, but that's ok.

I have the GI Bill.

Anyway, I did my research the last couple couple/few days, and here's what I've come up with so far:

Individuals considering entering Surveying and Mapping Technologies should like mathematics (I DO) and some of the following: Working outdoors(I love it outside), working with their hands(I do), performing activities using equipment and processes(yep), and using computers.(I do)

They should be able to:

    This job is for me.

    Hey Jamz.

Glad you're looking into your options....btw, I heard that surveying was up there in the category of deaths on the job. Don't know how true that is, just something I've heard.
