Well I just got off of vacation a few days ago and it was great! the girlfriend and I took 12 days to travel from Iowa to Camp Pendleton, Ca and visit some family along the way.
Our first stop was Estes Park, CO it was gorgeous and it wasnt to busy since its not a real tourist time of year. then on to fernley, nv (mom lives there) their isn't much out there so i dont recommend going. lol The best part of the trip was lake tahoe, nv that place was amazing! crystal clear water, a beautiful view. The lake is 1600ft deep in places and it averages 1000ft in depth. If you havent been i highly recommend going. It is a little high priced though but well worth it. who else has been here?
