Lease and Damage

When i have to turn in the truck are they going to have a problem with scratches in the bed of the truck?

Could i just get a bedliner and cover them up?

No, normal wear and tear is not deducted. Stuff like rock paint chips, minor scuffs etc are acceptable. They do not expect the vehicle to come back in show room condition.
If you have dents and other 'damage' above and beyond normal wear and tear, then you may have to pay a bit extra because you depreciated the vehicle beyond the value that your contract agreed too, kind of like going over your mileage limit, you will have to pay a bit.

That was my understanding also.

I just don't know what is considered normal for the bed. If what i did to the bed of this truck was on the out side i would be screwed.

that is normal, the bed is suppose to get scratched because its a bed to carry and haul things, now if its all dinged up now thats different

As long as there are no holes in the box (like installing bed rails) its normal wear. A few dents here and there are expected for a pickup.
