We have been entertaining visitors and trying to learn what to do the last two days at the hospital. We are finally home now and on our own (except for when my wife's parents come over everyday). We very much look forward to watching him grow and hopefully we can raise him right. I am sure he will teach us much more than we will ever teach him.

Best feeling in the world isn't it? There's a little work involved, but I am 100% positive ya'll will do fine, so dont be nervous, enjoy it...
Keep taking them pictures and sharing over the next few months.
Our daughter is a little over 3 months old and she dicovered her voice at about 6AM Saturday morning. She was in her crib "LA LA LA GA GA GA GOO GOO GOO". She couldn't "talk" at a normal volume, it had to be loud and she wanted to be heard I guess.
All weekend long she "talked", but VERY loudly. She was almost yelling. Sometimes it sounds like sje was fussy, but it was just her talking to herself....again, all weekend long.
Kiddos are awesome, and as they get older, they get even more fun. Wait till he recognises you and smiles everytime he see's you....you'll melt .
Congrats on the little one, my little girl just is 8 months already, seems like just yesterday she was born and it has been the best thing that has ever happened to me
Good luck with the inlaws
, and get ready for some sleepness nights

Congrats, you gotta hurry up and have another so as they get older you'll learn "I don't know" and "I didn't do it". It's to easy to tell with just one
Mine are 7 1/2 and 10 now and time does fly. It's hard to believe my first is almost a 5th grader already and middle school is right around the corner

Prepare for your world to be ROCKED.........!!!
Jackson must be the "it" name for boys this year -- he's now the 4th Jackson I've heard of since our little guy was born around this time last year (?). Before that, the only Jackson I'd ever heard of was Jackson Browne.........

I'm reading this thread as I am holding my 2 month old son in my arms. Get ready, your life is about to change. It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, it is totally worth every minute. Oh, and time does fly! The not sleeping through the night part lasts about 2-3 months on average, so be ready for that.
Above all else, congrats pops! Here's the latest pic of our little guy:

Sorry for stealing your thunder there.
