Truck Wrecked

I know I don't post much but I read 90% of the stuff here, I need to vent. I drive a 95 F150 the best vehicle I've ever owned. I spent six months trying to find her. Standard cab, long bed, 4.9 six, 5 speed, manual 4wd, Eddie Bauer (spelling?), Strait body, nice dark metalic green paint with beige trim. I've been driving her for years, but this year I finaly gave her some attention, complete tune up, new clutch, new u joints, warn hubs, new dual exhaust, and much more all done myself. Last month I completly rebuilt the TTB front suspension, I droped it off for new tires and an alignment Monday night, I picked it up last night. On my way home from work today in sight of my house, I'm stopped waiting to make a turn on to my street, some kid in mommy's minivan plows into the back at at least 35 mph. At the very least, I need a new bed, bumper and tailgate. The frame seems unharmed and nobody was hurt (my neck and back are killing me now though). The 12,000 pound rated tow bumper did a number on the van though.

Figures

Ohh that sucks!!!!!

Hope you get to feeling better!

I know it's discouraging but just remember it's only a machine, it can be fixed.

Ouch, thats a suck right there.

October 1990.
'88 F-350 dually flatbed ex cab stopped at an intersection.
intoxacated woman driving Toyota land cruser 55-60mph, no attempt to stop.
9ft flatbed squished to 3ish.
Cab held together though and we walked away.

stuff happens, he's screwed on the insurance.

Last April, going across on a green lady drives around the cars in front of her and blows the red light. Wrote off my Cougar, I know its just a car, but damn was I depressed when the adjuster totalled it.

Last September, just had the new engine in the Explorer for less than a month. Waiting at a green to make a left. Some **** up blows the red doing at least 70 and t-bones me. Hit me so hard my hat ended up in the back seat. Totalled too, but when that hondas front end got to the frame it was done. Not even a dent to the frame rail, but the body was messed up enough they totalled it too. Just about ripped the guy right out of his door.

It blows man, but ya walked away. Its not much right now but its something.

That sucks man, the most reliable F150 ever in my opinion is the 300 inline 6 with 5spd manual. Id love to have a 93-97 F150 again, the most reliable vehicle Ive owned was my 93 F150, it had a 5.8L. Those 5.0 and 5.8's are also rock solid reliable. Hell it was quieter than the 5.4 I have now.

I was going to ask the EXACT same question.

A friend of mine was rear-ended about 2 months ago while on the job.

I told her to get a lawyer ASAP...she didn't, and now she's up to her eye ***** in bills that wasn't even her fault.

Same yourself a head ache and contact a lawyer, not to sue, but to cover your 6 brotha.
