Before and After: 1988 F-150

I rarely make an unsolicited comment about a member's truck, but, when somethign catches my eye, I have to recognize it, and give it props...

Even though it's a concept (photoshopped) this is the best example of a before and after I have seen, with regard to the "Lift" crowd, and the "Lower" crowd.

So, after seeing the before:

And the after:

Which do you prefer?

I think the look he's going for, will be bad-***, if it ends up like that. So, seeing it lifted, and lowered- which version do you like more?

I like the lowered look...

I like the lifted look myself. If he can pull off the lowered look, make it look GOOD, then I say congrats.

I've never been a fan of lowering trucks, espeically long beds. Lift it. It'll look sweet.

If I read his info correctly, it is already lifted.... he wants to lower it.

different rims either way, looks bad *** lifted. He will probalby want to go with 18s or 20s if he loweres it. And pull off the rear window plastic trim thing.

IMHO longbeds ONLY look good lifted (not lowered, not stock), unless they are 70's or older...

I think it looks great as is. I might change the wheels. Go with outlaw II's instead of just outlaws, and maybe some fender flares...

There is no plastic trim thing on the windows. That's how the trucks were back then.

I couldn't stand Ford trucks of this era, back in those days...

But, looking back now, it is a good looking truck...

Back then I was Pro-Car. Well, I'm still Pro-car, but I like trucks a lot now too, since I moved to Texas in 1992, and got assimilated into the collective.

I was a GM fan back then though.
