Silverado in Action- TWC Subscribers

Hey, if you guys & gals want to hear about the new Silverado (You know, if you can take it) if you have Time Warner Cable, you can go to OnDemand, and see a presentation with Howie Long about it..

OnDemand, Marketplace, Driver TV, GM Showroom, Chevrolet, Silverado In Action.

No one has Time Warner Cable?

There's one on there about the F-250 as well, but I went there looking for info on the 2008, but they only spoke of the 2007, then only demonstrated with the 2006, extended cab... Very Plain Jane.

Broad-*** price range though. From $24,111 - $56,000. I don't care what you do to it, I don't see how that can equate to a $32,000 price spread.

I kinda want one, a 4 x 2, SuperCrew, 5.4L or V10, with the 6.9' box.

PS- Chevy, with the Max tow package, (367 HP 6.0L) can tow 10,500 lbs, and can carry 2,039 lbs in the bed. It's really a "1-ton" in a 1/2 ton body.

They claim Silverado is the only truck in the 300/20 club. Offering over 300 HP, and over 20 MPG EPA Estimated MPG. Not bad...

I can get about 20 - 22 MPG in my SuperCrew, but I have the 4.6L and only 230 HP. Who wouldda thunk my V-6 MDX would be more powerful 265 HP, even more ponies than my 5.4L Expy (whihc was rated at 260 HP). Now, all expy's come with the 300 HP 5.4L.

I think H.L. is a tool and TWC sucks but I have too many tv's to switch to satelite (I know they have multi room packages but I'm too lazy to rewire and I lost track of my homeboy that could rig the cards - that is if they can still be rigged).

If I were going to buy a new truck I'd probably get a Silverado as they still come in single cab. I just don't like that extended stuff. But I plan to stay with the F150 old body style (97-03) as it rules!

It might be on there, if you have OnDemand.

We had Comcast before TWC bought them out last year. Comcast had OnDemand too.

Hey Hersh,

I got a kick out of that! Everything they showed me on the new Silverado was on some other truck too. You know the 170 degree opening rear Supercab doors? You can thank the Titan for having those since 2004. How about the rear Supercab door power windows? F-150. Rear power sliding window? F-150

I LOVE how Chevy claims "We're the only manufacturer in this segment to have doors that open 170 degrees." Yeah, the segment is probably "Trucks built by General Motors." Anyway, thanks for the heads up it looked kinda cool. I may just have to go down and check out a new Silverado. I am going to do a write-up on the Tundra as well. Cheers!

This is true. You have to remember the Titan only opens up to 168*, in that case the new Silverado's 170* blows the Titan out of the water.

Yeah, I know...

Thought you guys would get a kick out if that...

The only thing really impressive (new) is the power and MPG, and overall the truck looks great, inside and out.

No "firsts" for trucks, but a lot of first for Chevy.

In that video did you check out that horrible approach angle on the new GM's. Everywhere they are going the front clip is pushing mud, wait till they hit something solid.
