Need help uninstalling a program

I've been trying to uninstall Adobe Acrobat 7.0 on a co-worker's computer, but I keep getting a message that says:

The patch package cannot be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contract the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package.
Adobe won't automatically update either. Any ideas?

What operating system? You're using windows to uninstall it? There are many programs that do not come with uninstallers. You have to delete it. The problem comes when it contains shared files. Having a registry fixer can help with that. I just started using XP so I have no experience with it or Vista.

Q,

Be very careful going into the registry if you don't know what you are doing.

Try the tech article above.

Exclamation Please...

DO NOT start deleting file or registry keys. BAD advice.

PLEASE DO use the tech note on Adobe's website... that is a good place to start.
