We're picking it up this afternoon. It's an SEL Plus. Dark Amythst with black leather interior. We got the vista roof and the NAV system with the 6 disc changer. I'll post some pictures after I get it home. I'm excited.

Did the dealer work with you on the price, or are they still going for MSRP?

 

I got it for x-plan, and they over-allowed for our trade, so we got a good deal.

I just heard from the dealer. We were having it transported from another dealer, but it turns out the car is not on the lot yet. So we have to wait a couple of days.

 

How much did they give you on the trade in?

 

They gave us $2000 on a 1997 Olds Bravada with about 130K miles. My dad kept it looking good, but it was starting to fall apart piece by piece. We were happy with the price, so it was a good deal to us. Goodbye GM!

Not yet. Our dealer found it on another dealers lot in Orlando (2hrs. from here). It was supposed to arrive yesterday but it turns out that the car was showing up in their inventory even though it's not on their lot yet. It's on it's way from the factory. It should be there tomorrow or Thurs. Then it's on it's way to Freedom Ford and then to my driveway.
So hopefully I should have pictures for Thursday.

 

The damn car is still on a train somewhere. They found another one that's exactly the same except with a trailer hitch in the area. They're giving it to us for the same price, and we should have it tomorrow or Saturday. I'm anxious to play around with this thing finally.

Searching fo rmy post, so I could answer the CX-7 -vs- Edge - vs- (some other SUV) thread.

My memory is pretty good, but not good enough to remember Tardman91 had purchased an Edge.

I remembered Steve getting one ('cause he was the first person I saw mention buying one), but no one else who may have landed it.

As for ours, I get a lot of compliments on it. Many who state, (in full view of the blue oval) "I thought it was a Lexus" or "It looks like the RX350".
