You will not have to pay if they can't pay back their CC. People all over the USA default on their credit everyday and it doesn't affect you in any way except that CC rates are generally pretty high.

Well that is a pretty significant problem.

that's kind of like saying....We don't have to pay for their medical coverage, it doesn't affect us in any way except through higher insurance premiums.

Besides the whole thing to me is unpatriotic, ironic for a bank named "Bank of America"

America was founded on people coming from oversees and/or looking for a better life. What is more American than helping out an immigrant?

They aren't immigrants, they are illegal aliens.

And America has always, well until the 60s, had very strict immigration controls and almost no immigration was allowed from outside Europe.

Keep in mind that I would like for any immigrants to go through the right channels to make it legal. I also am not a fan of people that come over the border and expect us to speak their language. I am just playing devil's advocate with you.

This is comical.

Anybody got a US Government travel charge card or Government charge card for small purchases?

Take on Bank of America....
you might as well take on Haliburton.

....that was co-founded by Amedeo Giannini, the son of Italian immigrants, who started the Bank of Italy so other immigrants who were turned away from other banks had a place to bank. He later merged to create the current BoA.

Nope I don't qualify for an Independence Card.

If enough people leave them it will matter but people generally don't care anymore, at least enough to inconvenience themselves, even temporarily.

I've only got one credit card and I've had it for about twenty years, so, I don't remember if they asked for an SSN. If they did, I left the space blank because it's none of their damn business, as the SSN is for government use only, at least north of the 49th. I still got my card...

regards

Bank of America can kiss my fat white ***. I sincerely hope the US Government pulls its business card (1 million + cards) contract. Why is it so hard for people to understand that ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS A CRIME? Once again, this is nothing more than some left wing nut job trying to prove his own personal point.

KC-10 FE out...

I have a military letter of councelling on my record for my refusal to sign up for a Government Travel Card, issued by BOA. It wasnt originally because of this policy, it's because the whole program is a sham, but now this gives me another reason to be happy that I refuse to get one.

Bank of America lost my business when they decided to take my no fee checking account, that I had there for 10 years, and make it a fee based account. $5.95 a month unless you have a direct deposit going into the account. I didn't want to change my direct deposit just to suit them so I closed my accounts there and opened savings and checking accounts with USAA. So far I love what they have to offer BoA can get bent!
