http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070222/...mmigrants_dc_1

So what do you guys think of bank of america offering people without a social security number credit cards? I personally am going to go down there and pull my money out and go to washington mutual. Who is going to have to pay for it when the illegal racks up 5 grand on the card and then splits to mexico or moves.I think its BS what do you guys think?

This is old news. But I agree, I'd hate for any illegal Asians, Canadians, Europeans or South Americans to do this.

IF I had an account with them I'd close it and move to someone else. However, their fees and services have always been too expensive for me to bother.

However, I would close it in a heartbeat if I had an account there.

So what or who do you guys suggest to use for a bank? I am a B of A customer and have been for a long time even when it was Fleet. Around here they are the only big bank in town. Theres a few small town banks, but who's better?

I've already been down the small town insurance agency road and got screwed.

So???

I look at it like this, if you want credit in America, you need to be an American.

By doing this, it's only open the gates on the border just a little wider. Wont be long, and illegals will be able to vote next.

Nowadays, a lot of small local banks are offering ATM fee reimbursement in order to compete with big banks, since small banks don't have ATM's all over the country. Really, that's the only drawback to a small bank, so if you can find one that will cover the fees at least for a few transactions per month, you're set.

Smaller banks usually have lower fees and MUCH better customer service. They'll actually value your business, especially if you use them for checking/savings and car loans, mortgage, etc.

In a way they do. The illegals sneak in, get pregnant, give birth here and the baby is an American citizen. They are known as anchor babies. They grow up and vote for pro illegal alien and mexican issues.

Just checked and the closets brach office to me is 35 -40 minutes away. Thats to far for me to drive if I need to make a quick run to the bank. Plus they only have 1 ATM ( MAC ) machine in my area and thats 15 minutes away. I like convenience adn I dont like to pay ATM fees by using another banks machine.

As long as they vote Democratic -- kind of like the dead in Chicago!

Brew you might want to check for Compass, not sure if they are in your area or in your state, but I've had them for quite a while now and they have no fees and the ATM reimbursement.

Compass is a very good bank with a bunch of different types of accounts to limit the amount of monthly charges. Around here the drive thru's stay open till 6 pm.

I use Compass for my business account and Security Service Federal Credit Union for my personal banking.
