The water is not quite as clean as Bull Shoals but still cleaner than most lakes.
There is also the place in Rogers Arkansas called Monte Ne Resort (I have family there and go visit often but have nit made it to Monte Ne yet) Monte Ne is ruins of a resort from 1900. One of the ruins is a 130-foot tall concrete obelisk "pyrimid" ( The Pyrimid was suppose to house a time capsule to warn future generations what caused the fall of civilization). The entire place is full of cool stories.... anyway part of the resort is under beaver Lake. When water levels drop as they did last year, the amphitheater that is ussually under water becomes exposed. The amphitheater, was a popular gathering place on Sindays until Beaver Dam was constructed in 1963 at which time it was submerged and consumed by the lake.
