I Didn't Do It!!!!!

man I was just sitting her typing away on F150online, suddenly I hear this horriable rachet out side... I go out to see what it is, when suddenly from behind the treres pops a chopper!!!! I got a flyby by 2 military helicopters!!!! The tree tops were litterally being blown they were so close. I wouldn't 100% swear that the landing gear wasnt hitting some of them.

The first one was smaller and almost right over my house.

I dont know my birds very well, but looking online they appear to look like National guard style.....

The first smaller one was a probably med chopper, looked about like this....

Only had a red cross on the side.
The co pilot looked over and waved at me. (and they were not banked)

The second one was about 50 yards further noth from me and was alot bigger and flying through the bottom. He was slightly below the hill top... It looked more like this one..

He was LOUD!!!!!
He was the one I heard, sounded like they were laying down cover fire through the bottom on the back of my place. I cant even describe it.

Unussuall for them to fly that low. I am about 30 miles (by air) from a base. maybe practicing flying low below radar. Saweet!!!!

Sweet. About five minutes ago I heard this loud *** noise. Way louder than any civilian airliner, look around trying to figure out what it was. Had two CF-18s landing together right behind me, maybe 100 yards away

Ever see Blue Thunder? Maybe there's a show at your
house when you're not home. Just a thought.

I was out with some buds tearing up Truman lake here in Missouri, well within flying distance of Whiteman AFB. All of a sudden an Apache pops over the trees and just hovers around for a good 10 or 15 minutes. Finally it scoots of directly over us. Not exactly sure what that was all about, but it was pretty damn cool to see an Apache in flight.

Wasnt it Truman that a few years ago a plane from Whiteman accidently droped some concrete bombs and almost hit some fishermen?

I'm down here by, Ft Lost in the Woods (Ft LeonardWood)

I know this....

If you dont see any hydrolic fluid leaking from a CH-46.....dont get on it. That means it's out of fluid.

Your near a flight line? A CF-18s Hornet needs a landing strip, doesn't it?

Thats sick!! we were out in the desert and to make a long story short we got lost ran out of gas and ended up crossing over 29 palms marine base. Well 10 minutes later while sitting there 2 big a$$ helicopters just like the second picture you showed PSS buzzed our heads probably the same 20-30 feet from us with marines hanging out with m-16 pointed at us. we waved and they keep going. Another cool story was out in blythe,CA on the colorado river and i was wakeboarding and a pilot in an apached came down and hovered right in front of our boat, my little bros were on the boat and started freaking out they were so excited. I just waved to the pilot and he waved back and then ended up taking off. That was one of the coolest things ive seen.

There is a large vareity of food there. They are much more culturly diverse then this bodunk town I'm in. I'd say the Army Base has something to do with that.

Thats awsome.

I think a year or so back we had the same thing going on here. In a pasture just east of our house, about 400 yards out, there were two helicopters hovering around, popping up from the tree line and messing around out in our field, and some huge **** cargo like plane flying real low back and forth. Lasted a good 15 minutes, it was pretty fun to watch.

We ALWAYS have fighter jets flying right over our house too. Them bishes our loud, and low. We have a windmill that is 75 feet tall, and I swear they are low enough to hit it easily. Seems like they only come down that low when they are right around the house, otherwise they are usually up a little higher. Pretty crazy stuff. Ill sit on the roof of the house and watch them, you can see the pilots easily. Scares the crap out of me because Im ducking and everything because it seems like they are going to hit me

They are always coming up around here from Offutt AFB.

I was sittin at a FARP site near Yuma, AZ in our P-19 firetruck doing nightops(basically sittin in the truck wating for the pilots to come in) when we heard them coming in so we get our gear set up and wait for them to land and taxi up for fuel. The first CH-53 lands and browns out the LZ then the second bird thinks that the IR lights on our truck are the LZ so they go to set down on our truck, it isnt till there landing gear is 4ft...no s**t 4ft from the front window till we finally say F-it and turn on all the lights...if only I could have seen the pilots eyes. I had to throw away those boxers I was wearing also

Had the Snowbirds fly low right over my house a few years ago practicing manouvers. I just happened to be outside, that was sweet.

I used to have fun with the customers at the old building, you could see the planes on final coming towards us through the over head door when it was open. All I had to do was look worried and say "Oh, damn hes coming in kinda low" The look on thier faces was priceless, then it would land and they looked so relieved.
