Possibly now they should be called the "Chicks" or how about the "Pop Chart Chicks", or "Pop Chicks", or "Alternative Chicks".

But yes, "Dixie" should probably come out of the chicks.

I just keep hearing Larry the Cable Guy's joke in my head.

"If it wasn't for the two hot ones, that fat one would be working at a Lane Bryant in Nashville right now."

The funny thing is, natalie Maines, the fat one, comes from a strongly musical family. Her dad is Lloyd Maines, one of the top producers of Texas music. He also plays guitar on records for a lot of people.

It's probably her strong sense of entitlement which gives her a big mouth and detracts from the filtering ability that most individuals with common sense have.

Why does everyone care so much what everyone else thinks anyway? I don't agree with Bush's plan for Iraq, but can't emagine refusing the service of someone else that does... It's a difference of opinion.. whats the big deal?

She's entitled to say it. As country music fans we are entitled to stop supporting her for saying it.

I disagree with a great deal of Bush's policies both domestic and foreign but if I'm on foreign soil I'd be the typical American cowboy...

"Whatcha say about Bush....take it back or I'll sock you one"

I'd have done the same for Clinton, of course I'd have socked Clinton once we landed on American soil.

The reason the DC won the awards was 100% liberal politics.

Just look at their sales and concerts turn out in the US, oh wait they had to cancel concerts here and do most in Canada.

the Dixie in their name has nothing to with being country, they picked the name from the dixie cup brand. IIRC.

That's like saying Metallica isn't metal rock so take out metal from their name.

After I heard their horrible caterwauling off key rendition of “Leather and Lace” I never wanted to hear them again.
I would rather listen to a gut shot Hyena than listen to their horrific braying.

Emily, the one on the left is married to Charlie Robison. Charlie is Bruce Robison's older brother, Bruce is married to Kellie Willis. Regular singing family.
