Well, a major winter storm is hitting us---we can expect upt o over a foot of snow and blizzard conditions later on. School was cancelled today, and will probably tomorrow, as well. I washed the truck this weekend, but it just doesn't matter any more...

We get five snow days here, and this is our third. After the five "freebies" we have to make them up.

So, for right now, I will keep feeding the woodburning stove and watch it come down.

EVERYBODY is expecting schools to close cuz of the ft of snow were expecting tonight.
no snow has fallen yet today but all schools are closing their after noon activities.
lets hope they close ton ight real early so incase it doesnt snow we still have off

 

Yup, this is awesome. And no class tonight. News is on when it shouldnt be, sayin its the worst snow storm since 1993 but thats not true, Xmas 2004 was. Man you can barely press that brake pedal before you start sliding.
Few counties west of us have a blizzard warning.

How's life down the road from me? I doubt that we will have school tomorrow, as well. I have never seen the forecast say "Blizzard" on tonight's weather. I hope my wife gets home from the hospital OK---she worksin Cleveland.

I was surprised to see that LCCC actually had classes today, as well.

I took a screen shot of the page (Alt+Print Screen) and then pasted the image into Paint. Then I just cut out the part I wanted to post, then saved it as a pic, then uploaded it into my gallery here.

 

Already makin some money so thats good. The powder fallin' now I'll leave to keep sleet later from makin' skatin' rinks. I laugh, 6 inches so far, and haven't even needed the 4x4 to move. 500lbs in the back of the F-150 workin' purdy darn good. Sleet tonight though will require some transfer case action I think.

we just get lake effect snow and winter weather advisories, rarely is it ever considered a blizzard :P
if anything, the weekend before last shoulda been a blizzard.
couldnt see across the street from saturday evening till the superbowl sunday night.
got 3ft a snow in 3 days.
