Too many keys on a ring...

My wife has always carried a bunch of keys and other childrens crafts on her key ring.
Eventually, you could remove the key from her Camry while driving down the road with the car in gear. We had that one 13 years.
Her Windstar ignition is loose, the key will now jiggle around quite a bit but not come out (yet) only had that one 11 years.
Jamz, you're half way home as your wife already uses a D-ring.
For a buck you could buy her two rings one for each automobile key leave the others together.
I've had this d-ring for about 15 years.
Four vehicle keys, two FOBs and assorted other keys.
I just quick-release whatever I want to drive as I approach the vehicle.
The key always goes back on the D-ring before I exit the vehicle.
I have heard that about to many keys, I figure we dont keep vehicles long enough to worry about it. However I have a thing about keys on my key ring. The more keys there are the more cluttered I feel and adds un needed stress to my life. So I keep, my truck key, my wifes key (1 key for each vehicle). If I had a bed cover I'd have the lock keyed for the ignition/door key. So 2 keys for vehicles, plus 1 key fob each.... 1 for the house, one for my grandma's house. 4 keys 2 key fobs. Thats all!!!
Each Boat has it's own floating key chain, I can only tow one boat at a time so I just grab the one I'm taking. Same with the other cars.... However I have gotten 1/2 way to the lake and thought I forgot a key so had to pull over and check. Luckily I havent forgot yet.... "YET" being the key word.

On my key ring, I have keys to: one key for my truck, room key, house key, home door key, hitch lock key, toolbox key, and a big ole Ford key chain. In the small map pocket on my truck, I've got (on separate key chains), 1. one toolbox key, one hitch lock key, and spare tire key. 2. Boat key, and boat spare tire key. Also in that pocket, I've got at least 2 spare boat keys, along with an extra key to the boat and tire locks (same key), and a few extra hitch lock keys (came with 4 for some odd reason).
I have a D Ring with Truck key, Toolbox Key, 3 Masterlock Keys, House Key, 2 work keys, Grandparents House Key, I clip this D ring on my beltloop and put the keys in my left rear pocket, have another ring I carry in my left hip pocket with CAT-100 lock key, 3 keys for church, another house key another tool box key, key for our barn at the farm and my remote start fob. in my wallet, I have a House key & non-pats truck key, in the console of the truck I keep a ring with trailer lock key & hitch lock key, tool chest key, and another CAT-100 key, on the other big D ring i keep in my console is non-pats truck key, about 5 keys from my old job I never gave back, another hitch key & another trailer Key, another house key, grandparents house key, and my tool chest key

I have on my ring: truck key, wifes car key, house key, storage lock key, work key, work shed key, fuel tank key, tool box key and key for back door of house, along with a nifty little LED light.
Each of our vehicles has it's own set of keys with one house key on it. In addition, my truck has a toolbox key and my husbands Bronco has a key to the latch on the back window. All the individual sets hang on a pegboard in the stairwell so when you head out you grab the set you need. The main reason for this. . .my husband hates carrying around huge bulky sets of 10-15 keys in his pocket.

It's the key to the door at her work. The door looks like a vault door. She works for the county in the clerks office.
I asked the same thing when I saw it. Freaky *** key.

That's exactly my plan Raoul.
I just seem to forget all about it until I see her key ring. It has actually gotten better. She used to have a lot more on it at her last job.
I make fun of her by calling her a janitor.
Wow, I'm always having this conversation with the wife. I have a fob, truck key, house key, and work key. All my other vehicle keys, etc hang in a cabinet in the house. I'm not sure she even knows what all her keys go to. She has several charms, and cards, and numerous different size rings... I alway grab the spare key/fob when I drive her car. I hate having that wad of metal/plastic in my pocket...
I also, never leave the house without my 3 keys. She never takes her's anywhere unless SHE is driving HER car...
