This sucks.

I cant hear out of my driver's side ear. This cold has been kicking my ****, I've been caughin and hackin for a week now. Dayquil doesnt seem to do anything for me.




But I did buy my Kenny Chesney/Brooks and Dunn/Sugarland/Sara Evans/Pat Green tix when they went on sale this morning.

Hold your nose closed with your hand and blow, and then bingo, ear unolugged.

Yeah, but it didn't seem safe to me at the time. It took some manipulation with my jaw and making my ear pop combined with holding my nose and blowing. It hurt a bit after it popped, but everything cleared up eventually.

Oh, and I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night. JK

i had the first ear infection of my life last week...i just thought it had some water in it or something...i'm not sure if clearing it with the nose pinch would've worked for me or not, but that's the way we clear them when diving

Other recommendations include "autoinsufflation" or trying to clear your ears by pinching your nose shut and then trying to blow through your nose. By doing this, you are trying to force air up through your eustachian tube to help it open again and resume normal function.
It says to try a decongestant also. I'll try that first.
