Speed stacks

Speed stacks sport stacking, has anyone seen this?

My kids have been bugging me to run to wal mart all week and get his game. Tonight when we got home my youngest daughter offered that if I'd take her she'd buy it wit hher own money.

It's a huge rage right now!!!!

Do you know what it is?

Stacking cups!!!!!

Seriously.... it is

But these guys are lightning fast..... the game is to stack the regulation cups in pyramids of various sizes, as fast as you can, then tear them down. You are racing the clock and an opponet. Here is a video of non competition as seen on ESPN cold pizza.

Well I guess it beats them spending hours on video games. What ever happened to pitching quarters?

Do you know the story behind that game?

Something about some talk show that had a contest and a bunch of kids made games. Some kid made that, won the contest and now its out in a store near you!!!

My 9 year old boy got one of the speed stacker games for Christmas. It was good for a day or two. It collects dust now.

My 6 (or is he 7 now?) year old brother wanted the cups for his birthday, so we got him the deluxe set with the timer and everything. He's actually pretty good. The thing that I thought was odd was that they do this kind of crap in PE class now. Heaven forbid the kids get some exercise.

There is a cable commercial here advertising high speed and they have a cup person. I thought the comercial was stupid. I about died when I saw target selling a box of cups for $20 in the toy section. Absolutely undoubtedly retarded.
