Speed stacks
Stacking cups? Interesting that it is so popular when it doesn't involve controllers, video screens, game discs and lots of noise and violence. To many kids spend way to much time sitting behind a computer of one sort or another these days. I applaud anyone who buys Speed Stacks for their kids!

Anyway, Mandy "my wife" is against them, her main argument was that she couldn't stand to her the click click click click click, clack clack clack clack.
I argued that it's better than hearing video games, she counterd with yes but you can tell them to turn the volume of the video games down.
After some more debating we ended in the same stand off we started in.
This is where Dinty's rule comes in...
Dinty says; "It's easier to ask forgiveness than it is to ask permission."
I asked permission and lost so tonight I'll probably be asking forgivenesss.
PSS, buy your daughter the cups, she'll think you're the greatest dad ever, especially if you get the timer and non slip official pad. Then, buy your wife some shiny trinket to distract her, along with some headphones or ear plugs.

My daughter is Spanish club president at her HS. The club decided to have a fundraiser Dodgeball tourney, many teams entered. They raised over $2 grand for their trip to Europe. All of the Spanish club's fundraiser money goes to the kids going on the trip, all 4 of them from the Spanish club, basically for free. Dodgeball pays off large.

$20..for a stupid cup game. Forget that.
Go get a bag of these

When the kids get bored of the game after a week, you can prep them for college and teach them some cool drinking games like Flip Cup and beer pong.

I wonder when battle ball became dodge ball?
Dodge ball started off with 2 ***** and 2 people on opposing sides, with a crowd of people between them. You started picking people off from the crowd and they joined a side to help retrieve the ***** and pick more people off, until one person was left. That was your winner. Fun game with a lot of running and screaming.
Battle ball was just like what you saw in the movie about dodge ball.
Battle ball was the best game ever. PE will never be the same. I guess they're afraid that, with so many fat kids now, someone will have a heart attack from the exertion involved.
