That's how I like mine too. Is that your brisket? I'm gonna have to come up that way and try that out.

So, is it Bud, or Bud Light?

Rendevous is famous for dry ribs and they are good. Its located in an alley in downtown Memphis. Rumor has it that Jack Nicholson gets a slab or ribs sent to him every week from Rendevous. I still prefer Corky's for there wet ribs the best Ive ever had.

If you have to use sauce on your BBQ, you're covering up a cooking error.

I make some bad *** BBQ sauce. It's great for dipping.

Dipping is ok, but smothering means something went awry.

That was a continuation from Jeff's smartass remark . It's from the Frost Bank commercials where they're trying to be down home Texas folk talking about bbq......if you haven't seen it, part of it talks about fat side up or down and then about cooking with or without sauce.

I only use sauce for chicken cause it's bland.

I have never cooked a brisket wet or dry, But that pic has my mouth watering, Can a person do this with a good gas grill in 20 degree weather? I have had some BBQ from memphis and I have to say it was great. Sure would like to come up with something close to that with what I have, Man that pic still makes me want to throw away my gas grill. Appreciate any advice. btw, What the heck is a brisket?
